Relieving Teachers
Our kindergartens and early learning centres are often in need of relieving teachers to cover for permanent staff members on a day to day or short term relieving basis. Relieving offers you the flexibility to work when it best suits you. If you would like to be considered for inclusion on our list of day to day relievers please contact:

Qualified relievers must hold the equivalent of a Diploma of Teaching ECE and a current practicing
certificate. Qualified relievers must hold registration in order to be eligible for coverage under the
terms and conditions of the Kindergarten Teachers, Head Teachers and Senior Teacher Collective
Agreement.
Unqualified relievers must undergo a police vet check and provide verbal or written references prior
to acceptance and commencment of relieving.
All applicants must be entitled to work in New Zealand to be eligible to apply.
