Welcome
The Central North Island Kindergarten Association was formed in
1979 when a number of smaller Associations amalgamated to work as one.
We operate 50 kindergartens and provide management services to
9 Early Learning Centres between Whitianga in the North,
Taumarunui in the South and Opotiki to the East.
Our mission is to provide the highest quality early childhood
education services for young children in settings that inspire
active learning and support inclusion.
The strategies in our plan provide a framework for excellence in
early childhood education and support the promotion of leadership in
the early childhood sector.
