To provide consistently high quality teaching practice/strategies in all kindergartens
To inform parents/caregivers/whanau of the Association's philosophy and the
principles of effective education practice
To enhance children's mastery of early skills in reading and mathematics
To sustain and enhance information and communication technology (ICT) development as a tool for learning
To recognise and reflect the Association's commitment to strengthening its positive relationships with Maori
To strengthen kindergarten relationships with local primary schools

Management

To effectively promote kindergarten education as a quality choice for families
To provide quality professional development opportunities for all staff
To address the shortage of suitably qualified teachers in indentified hard to staff areas
To ensure that kindergartens identify and respond to the needs of their community within the parameters of the service offered
To implement a programme of regular review that provides feedback on the
Association's progress towards meeting its goals and objective's

Environment

To ensure kindergarten environments are clean, safe, well maintained and meet the learning needs of young children
